When I saw that the only way to get a boat big enough for the largest fish in the new area was only able to be acquired via spending real money, I uninstalled the game. I don't have a problem supporting a developer..BUT..when you block something in a free to play game behind a pay wall and only those who have the ability to break out the credit card will ever be able to experience it, that's where I have an issue. If I'm going to play a game that's free to play..I should have access to every single part of the game and IF I choose to support the game with my wallet, then that's my choice. Devs need to make games for the players..not their bank accounts. If a Dev makes a game and it's good...people will give money to support it but when you dive into pure greed and locking content behind pay walls..it's a great way to kill your game off in a hurry. I cannot bring myself to support this Dev team again..and yes, I have spent money in the past but, this current DLC, I'll pass and honestly, if the game shut down tomorrow..I wouldn't lose any sleep over it.

Yeah, only being able to respec at end game is very stupid. How was I supposed to know how to build my character? And then when you realize halfway through, you're just screwed and have to farm for hours to get enough points to be viable? Dumb.

I hate to say this but a battle pass system would work if they don't price it too greedily. The battle pass would have 3 different tiers and sell at three different prices. Tier 1 would be for the lakes levels 1-25and give some bait coins, club dollars and low level lures. The lures would have a rotation of lures already in the game but that are unique quest lures that people may have lost due to break offs. Tier 2 would be the same just for lakes 26-60 and of course include tier 1 rewards. And you guessed it tier 3 would include the other two tiers plus all the other lakes. Now the pricing should be tier 1 $4.99, tier 2 $9.99 and tier 3 $14.99. This seems very reasonable since they're reusing old assets and just giving a few new quests for each lake. They could even add in new holiday events in a battle pass format so those of us who enjoy them can do them again.

I have big issues with the game's interface. When switching lakes I need to change my setup. Right now, it takes forever to assemble some rods. The template system is a mess and the inventory is impossible to find anything in. The only time I start up FP nowadays is when an event is up, so I have something to do. Daily or weekly quests or missions would keep me coming back more often. I have been advocating Legendary fish as well for years. Fish that swallowed lures, pondpasses, baitcoins or club tokens. Also, get rid of the DLC adds that show up on every lake lately.

For me personally, i re tried the game but for me, it's too Arcady and gets boring very soon.

Mor der is 1 bug dat maakt me zot, als je een vis vangt op je boot, als hij voor eerste keer aan je boot komt zwemt hij direct onder je boot naar de bodem, en dan nog sommige zwemmen met redbul vleugels naar boven, daardoor kans dat je jmhem verliest.samen vissen is ook nog bugy. They need to build on each map with extra missions and so forth. The problem with this is unless they charge, rhey wont make any money for the effort that they put in. New missions at a old lake is going to need a micro transaction, how much do you charge for a few extra missions and a few more fish... 5 euros ? The ocean map could have missions where you board a industrial trawler and act as a team to bring in quoters etc . Their could be missions with lobster pots and so forth, Are they going to put that effort in and are people going to pay again to do these missions ? The fish leader boards should be sone on total weight caught that week/month not the heaviest fish caught. That in itself will keep people that are the interest in competitiveness interested. At the end of the day its a bit of a challenge, take away the time needed for grinding XP and its quite expensive for what it is .

There need to be more mechanics that make it more like a game Hooking a fish seems more random than anything. There are things you think may improve hookups but there is no certainty. Catching bigger fish isn’t challenging it is just more tedious. It takes a long time and usually just amounts to holding down the reel button. In some ways, catching bigger fish is more boring because of this. Sport fish should jump and this should require a response from the player to prevent losing the fish. Overall, the process of catching a fish should just be more interactive, and maybe they should curb some realism and add some more arcady elements to the game so it isn’t so boring some times.

Great list KP. Of note, only 0.9% of player have the "Unique Gainer" achievement. Besides removing Denuvo, I still think the most important thing they should do is remove the time limit on maps for people that buy the DLCs. It's just asinine. It basically makes farming Uniques effectively the only way to play, instead of being able to just play casually for fun. Either make people grind like crazy or buy their way into a new map, not both!

tbh I'm bord of the new map already,I bought the more expensive pack,only the boat is good to be fair the rest in the pack is shit and fighting any decent size fish is hell,really frustrating and it should be fun I can see why many are already quitting I'm looking forward to alaskan truck simulator coming July 11th shame really the ocean map has huge potential but it's hell not fun and fishing together when 1 player has a big fish on takes him half hour to fight it while all other 3 players are doing nothing everyone I know has finished all fish in map and missions,was expensive for a few days play

I agree 100% the unique need to be WAY more reare but i know alot of players would cry immediately that it too hard if it took them 10hrs or something. And that would cause more players to leave imo

I hope in the future they add more ocean maps but more coastal areas, so we can fishing for small fish that live in shallow reefs.

They can name the new rarer grade 'Record' since big fish are recorded and certified. Definitely make it extremely rare, 1% of uniques seem good. The league system you mentioned is good for the top level players who play daily. Club gear or X-Series will be good for those. I think having a milestone is much better for lower level players, every fish you catch is worth some points and every milestone you reach you get baitcoins or rare gear like trophy lures rare clothing things like those. Also, having weekly/monthly missions like catch x amount of certain fish like the missions we have currently but resets every week. A lot of online games have daily/weekly missions. We could also have a community milestone where everyone's contribution is counted. Once every 3 months or so, goes on for about two weeks like events we have. For the fishing areas, they can restrict the areas you can go on. Since we have different spots on the map, they can restrict you from going to certain spots(and probably the dock so you can't use boats) where smaller fish are more present. People who want to fish larger fish will buy the DLC, and lower level players can go on and fish at new maps. The level restriction will be lowered but will still be high enough to keep people buying the DLCs. Since we already have the 'The fish was too strong for the reel' mechanic, no need to worry about people needing to cut their line.

I will talk for myself, My improvements for fishing planet are: 1.- Put a realistic sound of the line been taking out of the spool of the reel by the fish, not te game game sound tik tik tik. 2.-Could be able to see how the line is ending or decreasing when the fish is taking line. 3.-That the spool of the reel spin when the fish is taking line, I do not seet it in the ocean map. 4.- For the fish fight, make the fish have really weight, is not realistic that you make a 60 kgs fish goes to the surface by reeling him or lifting the rod. 5.- Make the fish able to snag you going into a structure in some times, not always but also able to unsnag him.and continue the fish fight. 6,. Be able to put a rod in a rod holder even when the line is out of the water, right now is able only when the line is in the water 7.- On the fish fight just some fish could jump out of the water like bass, pikes, snook, tarpon and marlin, others like catfish, trevally, amberjack, etc need to be a bottom fight I mean a deep fight, they never jump
